  • Contact form: name, email address, reason for contact, and message content when you submit our contact form.
  • Book updates subscription: email address when you subscribe for launch and book-related updates.
  • Book purchases: full name, shipping address, email address, order details, and payment status. Payment card numbers are collected and processed directly by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
  • Analytics (with consent): page views, navigation interactions, checkout funnel events, device/browser information, and approximate location derived from IP address through PostHog.
  • Security and anti-abuse: reCAPTCHA v3 interaction signals sent to Google to help detect automated or fraudulent form submissions.
  • Essential technical data: server logs, request metadata, and cookies required for site security and core functionality.

3. How we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • Respond to contact inquiries and provide customer support.
  • Send book update emails to subscribers who opt in.
  • Process and fulfill book orders, including shipping and order-status emails.
  • Operate our admin order management workflow.
  • Measure site performance and improve user experience (analytics, with consent).
  • Protect our website, customers, and business from fraud, abuse, and security threats.
  • Comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

6. Data retention

  • Orders: retained for fulfillment, customer support, and legal/accounting requirements (typically up to 7 years for financial records).
  • Contact and subscription requests: retained as long as needed to respond and maintain communication history, unless you request deletion.
  • Analytics data: retained according to PostHog settings and operational needs, generally no longer than necessary for analysis.
  • Server logs: retained for a limited period for security and troubleshooting.
